Cannabis Industry Awards Dinner launched

The inaugural Cannabis Industry Awards Dinner has been announced by the Cannabis Industry Council, the Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society, and Drug Science.

The event is being held on Thursday 7 November at the HAC, Armoury House, City Road, London, EC1Y 2BQ. Dress to impress – lounge suits and dresses suggested.

The awards dinner, presented by Somai Pharmaceuticals, is being held in celebration of Medical Cannabis Awareness Week.

Two outstanding individual achievement awards – Social Impact and Contribution to Science – will be presented on the night. The two winners will receive free tickets to attend the awards dinner.

The award nomination process is as follows:

  • 2 September – 1 October: Nominations open
  • 2 – 3 October: Nominations reviewed and shortlisted by panel
  • 4 – 25 October: Public vote to decide winners

Awards Dinner Coordinator Sam Cannon commented:

Event attendees will include CEOs, founders, doctors, scientists, and decision-makers. Guests will enjoy a three-course meal and refreshments, accompanied by entertainment from a comedian and table magicians. An after-party is due to be held following the dinner, at a location nearby.
