CIC member referral scheme
We are offering a £25 Amazon voucher to any individual working for a CIC member that successfully nominates another organisation for membership.
This offer applies to paid types of CIC membership only. It does not apply to any free member categories, the International Observer scheme, or any supporter categories.
The Five Steps to Claim
How to claim the £25 Amazon voucher:
- Read the Member Referral Scheme Terms & Conditions (see below)
- The nominator should email CIC with the details of the candidate they are proposing for membership
- The candidate for membership should mention the nominator on their submitted application form
- CIC will contact the candidate to consider their membership application
- Upon the candidate’s successful admittance into CIC membership, CIC will contact the nominator to confirm their voucher.
Member Referral Scheme Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
- An existing Cannabis Industry Council (CIC) member (referred to below as a “Nominator”) must refer a relevant company/organisation (referred to below as a “Candidate”), for CIC membership.
- The Candidate cannot have previously been a member of the CIC.
- Membership upgrades or renewals do not qualify under this scheme.
- There is no limit on the number of referrals a Nominator can make.
Applications
- Referrals must be emailed to CIC, with the Candidate company name and contact details included.
- By emailing CIC, the Nominator is confirming that they have sought the permission of the Candidate for their details to be included.
- The Candidate for membership should mention the Nominator on their submitted application form
- CIC accepts no responsibility for lost or incomplete applications or referrals.
Process
- CIC will contact the Candidate directly, to consider their membership application.
- CIC will at its absolute discretion reject any application which it feels does not comply with these terms and conditions and/or where the Candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria for membership.
- The Nominator will receive a £25 Amazon Voucher for each Candidate who successfully applies for a paid type of membership and is subsequently admitted to the Council.
- No more than one voucher will be issued with respect to each successful Candidate.
General
- CIC reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or extend this referral scheme at any time.
- England and Wales law applies to these terms and conditions.
